new year. new miles.

with the onset of the new year it’s time to get back to my routine. not in my running per se. that still somewhat has to be handled on a run-as-i-feel-fit basis. but my sunday blog miles update needs to come back. now that i’m only running with a group once a week, i need to stay accountable to someone other than me, myself and i and this has always been a perfect place for me to see things clearer.

week of jan 3

monday pilates
tuesday off
wednesday 3 miles with buns ~ gornto
thursday 6 miles ~ gym tread + upper body weights
friday off
saturday ~ 8 mile bike ride (leisurely)
sunday ~ 9 miles tc trails with the group

weekly total run miles 18
2011 total run miles
(this week plus 4 on the sunday prior)

upcoming races/events
feb 12 ~ dances with dirt 50-mile relay
feb 27 ~ gasparilla distance classic half (tentative)
march 26 ~ fight for air stair climb
april 2 ~ cooper river bridge 10k (tentative)

      it’s a start. seeing a new chiropractor on friday and hopefully she won’t put me back on the sidelines. in spite of this injury lingering on and on, i really feel like this is going to be a strong year for running.
