january miles

no deep introspection in this post. i promise! ๐Ÿ˜‰

i’ve been tracking my miles on my desk calendar at work and given tomorrow is the first of february, i need a record of january numbers before that page goes in the garbage.

weekly averages have varied so i’m not breaking that out at this point but so far for the monthly total i’m sitting at 99 miles! and there’s an eight to 10 miler on the schedule for tonight. more than 100 miles for my first solid month back! i’ll take it! and as i mentioned yesterday, if all goes according to plan for the remainder of this week, i should hit more than 40 for this week alone.

maybe, just maybe, i’ll avoid injury and break 1,000 miles this year! i’m certainly off to a good start ๐Ÿ™‚

    So awesome!!! I can’t wait to get to the point of having 100 mile months. Must feel so good to be back!

      if i can do it with my schedule you can do it too! now i just need to stay healthy so i can FINALLY have a 1,000 mile year. i’ve never made it. but i have a feeling this is my year ๐Ÿ™‚

    100+ miles in 2013 so far? amazing!

    So you track your miles on a paper calendar? For some reason I LOVE THAT. You made me want to go out and buy a big office paper calendar to start tracking my daily workouts/miles.

      i sure do! given i don’t blog daily i need a way to keep track until i do. i suppose i could use my garmin but i’ve been running naked (sans watch ;)) more often lately. i’m a big desk calendar freak. the big huge ones. so i always jot my mileage/workout details on it when i get to work.
