week of wonder

last month, i decided that i wanted to do a weekly post of best moments. a reminder of sorts of all the amazing things i have in my world. of course it’s now three weeks later and i have yet to follow through but this week has been exceptionally fabulous and i want to share!

first and foremost, i started my new job this week and i couldn’t be more excited. i love love love my new boss and the culture of the department. and the role i’m going to be in allows for so much professional growth. for the first time in years i feel as though i have an opportunity to revitalize my career versus merely going through the day to day motions of a job.

second, i’m thankful that i was wrong and that sometimes someone does walk into your world when you least expect it. it could be nothing. it could be something. but i can’t wait to find out.

no doubt i’m glad i finally broke late last week and got xrays of my ankle. turns out when i rolled it at croom i rotated my talus bone. a quick pop by the chiropractor and i was realigned. it’s not perfect but it was good enough for an amazing wet rainy 17.5 miles with awesome friends on saturday morning!

wet and wild

wet and wild

and finally i’m giddy as all get out that i finally stopped being so damn practical and did something this afternoon that i’ve wanted to do for years!

it's a jeep thing ;)

i’m too sexy for this jeep 😉

I love this post! All such great things and I hope you do continue to post weekly about the good. I feel like I blog when I’m stressed or upset about something, rarely when it’s sunshine and tulips.

And so happy you love the new job!

i think most writers do that. it’s therapeutic. but i want to continue to share the good with the bad especially since right now i feel pretty damn good! 🙂

LOVE this post! If you ever get to the Boston area I would love to meet you!
I love the jeep, almost got one but it was used and very shaky on the highway.
Specially love the tiny mention of a new romantic….

shhhh. lol 😉 tiny mention on purpose. trying to simply enjoy and not worry too much about what it is or isn’t.

i’m up that way occasionally. my mom lives in western mass and any trip up always includes a day or two in boston! next time i come up we will definitely have to meet!
